Below is the final ten day installment of my 100 happy days campaign. On the one hand, I’m sad to see it come to an end. On the other hand, it served its purpose and I’m glad I decided to do this exercise again.

So what did I learn? Nothing I didn’t already know…but, was not applying. These last 100 days reminded me that what I focus on is what I see more of. During this time I was intentional about looking for happiness in every day. As a result, of course, there were many things throughout each day that made me happy. I often had a hard time choosing just one!

What really changed is what I was giving attention to. I had allowed external negativity to erode my internal positivity. But, I have taken back my world view. I have re-couped my positive attitude. I consciously look for the happy in every day. I try to have a positive impact on my world. I live my one word for 2015: elevate. And, I am fully present to all the little things that are easily overlooked but are oh so important.

So, while the news is still filled with horror, the election campaigns are still mean-spirited, and my online communities cause me to shake my head in wonder sometimes, I control how I feel and how I react. I refuse to hand that over to anyone else.

I hope these 100 days also helped you focus on what happiness there is in your life. Remember, live joyfully!
