The following was recently shared with me:
I have a job interview this afternoon. The position pays about ten thousand dollars more than I’m making now. But, you know what? I really like it here. I would stay for half that amount. No, a quarter of that amount. Anything to show that they appreciate how hard I’m working and acknowledge that I’m needed here.
