TEAM

I love sharing new resources to help supervisors and team leaders incorporate fun activities that also open the door to important conversations. This latest one certainly fits the bill.

In February, the When i Work blog  posted “An Epic List of Great Team Building Games.” Their popular activities book was updated to include eight new games and, as they noted, not a single “trust fall” is among them. You can click on boxes, scroll through the list or download all of them in an ebook (providing your email address is required for the ebook); you choose how to access them.

One of my favorites is Game #11, Find the Common Thread, an activity to tear down stereotypes. Or, maybe it’s #13, Organizational Jenga, showing how vital each and every person or role is to an organization. Wait, no, I think it’s #7, creating The Common Book. Or maybe it’s…maybe you should just visit the website or download the book and check them all out yourself!

(By the way, the When I Work blog has a lot of valuable resources for frontline leaders. Spend a few minutes and explore!)

The Tuesday Tidbit is the emerging leader’s weekly source for team building tips, leadership development content, creative ideas and general workplace inspiration. To discuss individual coaching or a group workshop at your office, contact me here and let’s chat!
