I love yellow flowers. Daffodils and tulips in the spring, black-eyed susans and sunflowers in the summer, chrysanthemums in the fall. I particularly enjoy yellow flowers around my kitchen. They brighten up the room and my heart. The sight of yellow flowers makes always me smile. Perhaps, as Van Gogh said, it is because they stand for the sun.
Fresh flowers, especially yellow ones, is a little thing I do to bring extra cheer into my day. What is something you do, just for you?
