Like much of the country, we seem to have been experiencing rain, rain and more rain this summer. This week, we’ve had loud and powerful storms waking us in the middle of every night and then showers every day.
This photo was taken yesterday afternoon, as menacing clouds rolled in near the office. This morning’s news includes reports of possible tornados late yesterday, storm damage in many neighborhoods, and severe flooding in others.
Today, I am thankful for sunny skies ahead.
Today’s weather forecast is 78 degrees, partly sunny, 10% chance of rain. Tomorrow is forecasted at 80 degrees, sunny, 0% chance of rain. The weekend continues this trend.
The hubby will be able to tend to his community garden plot. A local music and arts festival should go on as planned. I can get back to walking outdoors. We might be able to find a baseball game to enjoy. Perhaps we’ll be able to visit our new grandson and spend some time relaxing n the patio.
Life just seems better when the sun is shining, doesn’t it?
