(This continues a series of posts sharing insights I gained from this year’s Leadercast event.)

Best selling author Seth Godin always makes me think – differently! As he encouraged us to be one of the “The Brave Ones,” he asked these important questions:

Do you care enough to try? Are you brave enough to fail?

Godin noted that we often hold back because we are afraid that someone will think that we are not as good as we think we are.

In other words, ego.

What if we try something audaciously bold and we fail? What will people think? Ah, but, what if we try something audaciously bold and we succeed? What difference could we make?

Is ego standing in the way of your bravery?
