I recently facilitated a Greater Than Yourself (Steve Farber) book club for a client. As we were reflecting on our weekly discussions, we explored a participant’s comment that “great leadership takes courage.”

It takes courage to have the difficult conversation…especially with a difficult team member.

It takes courage to stand up for what you believe in and who you believe in.

It takes courage to suggest a process change or implement a new process.

It takes courage to communicate clearly and to listen carefully.

It takes courage to give up the credit and to accept the blame.

It takes courage to seek feedback and to be accountable.

It takes courage to be authentically you.

It takes courage to love your team.

It takes courage to be a leader.

It takes courage to lead.

Find your courage.
