All of us encounter problems now and then; at work, at home, or in the community. How we choose to face the problem has a direct impact on how it is resolved. Do you view it as a burden or an opportunity? Do you tackle it head on? Do you hand it off to someone else? Do you sweep it under the rug?

“Houston, we haveĀ a problem.”
Fortunately, what could have been a significant problem was short-lived as I learned that someone else had recognized the same problem and took action.
I don’t use the word “problem” too often so, of course, it was a Tidbit inspiration. Here are some thoughts to help us see that our problems may not be the problem!

The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem. – Captain Jack Sparrow
Problems are like washing machines; they twist us, spin us and knock us around, but in the end we come out cleaner, brighter and better than before. -Sea Publications
The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem. -kushandwisdom.tumblr
Tuesday Tidbits are weekly messages I send to my leadership team. They are generally short & sweet, often focused on leadership or teamwork, always positive and, hopefully, motivational. I hope you also find some meaning in them.
