As anticipated in several recent posts, I attended The Extreme Leadership Summit last weekend. It was awesome, inspiring, thought-provoking and humbling.   I have pages and pages of notes to sort through and will share more in future posts but, for now, here are a few quotes that stood out:

Your adversity is your advantage. Your past has developed muscle, not wounds. – Darren Hardy (publisher of SUCCESS magazine)

Our new normal is instability and change. – Pamela Slim (author of Body of Work)

There are leaders who lead because that is what they do. There are leaders who lead because that is who they are. -Pete Luongo (author of Ten Truths About Leadership)

If you speak from the heart and people trust you, you will have a successful life. –Frank DeAngelis (principal of Columbine High School)

When you have a setback, reflect on it, apply what you learn and move forward. -John “Jay Jay” French (founder, guitarist and manager of Twisted Sister)

Happy people and bottom line results are not a trade-off. -Dr. Tasha Eurich (author of Bankable Leadership)

.

Tuesday Tidbits are weekly messages I send to my leadership team. They are generally short & sweet, often focused on leadership or teamwork, always positive and, hopefully, motivational. I hope you also find some meaning in them.
