Tuesday Tidbit

It’s seems hard to believe that kids are already heading back to school.  My hometown started last week; many other local towns open school doors this week.

This time of year is a perfect time to remind ourselves that learning never stops for leaders.  We must continually grow, evolve, and adapt.  Whether we are new leaders learning the ABCs or experienced leaders honing our skills, the learning must continue. If we don’t set the example and pay attention to our own self-development, how can we expect or inspire other people to focus on theirs?

Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other. -John F. Kennedy

I will prepare and someday my chance will come. -Abraham Lincoln

Never become so much of an expert that you stop gaining expertise. View life as a continuous learning experience. -Denis Waitley

Tuesday Tidbits are weekly messages I send to my leadership team. They are generally short & sweet, often focused on leadership or teamwork, always positive and, hopefully, motivational. I hope you also find some meaning in them.
