Sunday Service returns for 2011

I’m happy to announce the return of Sunday Service, a weekly charity focused post. As I strive to be fully present in all things, I must acknowledge that there are many people and organizations that need help. I can help by doing, by giving and by sharing.
One way to share is using my blog to help spread the word about the good work that so many organizations do. My Sunday Service posts in 2009 were among my most popular posts, a commentary on the goodness and generosity of my readers.
This year, I will be sharing information and links about charities that I’m personally interested in and support, as well as charities that have been given an A to an A+ rating by the American Institute of Philanthropy on www.charitywatch.org. Click HERE to see how the ratings are determined.
Is there is a specific charity organization that you would like me to write about? Please add a comment and provide the charity name and website link. I’ll be happy to help you spread the word.

Hi El,
I’d love to feature Enzian and the Florida Film Festival, Central Florida’s only non-profit art house cinema. I’m happy to send along more information if you’d like… and happy Friday!

Hi El,
Do not think I am stalking you today…just catching up on all of my connections! I would love to have you feature the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I am happy to send information, but would really love to give you a tour of the house so you can see it first hand. Let me know if there might be some time for you to get away and/or when you would like me to send you some information. In my first 3 weeks I have learned that this is an amazing organization that provides a home (complete with bed, shower, laundry and hot meals)when families are struggling to stay afloat as they are concerned with helping their sick children.

Megan – I would love to visit! I know that RMH offers a great service to families in a time of difficulty. I look foreward to hearing – and seeing – more.
